Update

Hello everyone,

Here's an update on how things went today and what the future looks like. Our court hearing today lasted only 30 min. But yes the parents rights are now fully terminated. Our DHS worker will let us know when Little A will say final good byes with Biological mom Lana. I think that will happen in the next few weeks.

Also on the other hand the future for Little A will not be with us. On Jan. 18Th court hearing Big A told our DHS worker that he is not interested in adopting Little A. Broke my heart but what do you do. I prayed and hoped Big A would change his mind.

My DHS worker said to me today that she would recommend us not to renew our license because Big A does not do well with the fostering. She also told me today that they are looking to place little A in a different foster home that is interested in adoption. DHS worker wants to place him in Sioux Center yet so he can stay in the same school and daycare. They do not want the biological grandparents to get him. They are not being flex able for a 5 year old boy schedule.


Please PRAY that Little A can be put in a home that will give him ALL the love he deserves not only half the love. He deserves so much more. He is an awesome boy.
