What a wonderful vacation!!!! We went to Washington DC from July 21 - 28th, 2009. Here are some of many pictures we took. Enjoy!!

July 22 - Holocaust Museum

July 23 - White HouseWe got to take a tour in the white house but you only get to see the part of the 1st & 2nd floor

July 24 - Washington Monument

The WWII was a beautiful place. I think this was one of my favorite places.

It was very interesting to see all the names of the Vietnam Veterans
July 25 - Arlington Cemetery
It's also amazing to see all the tomb stones of all the unknown soldiers....you just can't believe how many there are.

The Declaration of Independence is in the National Archives but we could not use flash on our cameras so it did not turn out well.
I would have to say this also one of my most favorite places to see.

On July 26 (Sunday) - We just stayed at our hotel and rested and respected the day.
July 27 - National Zoo
He was playing with hay and put it on himself. He was fun to watch.
July 28 - Time to head back home....Our plane
